Shorthand Speed Development
This course is suitable for writers of any shorthand system who need to improve their speed. This course is complete in itself, but is also ideal as a follow-on from our other shorthand courses.
With regular practice, plus adequate time for transcription, a steady increase in speed, dexterity and mental word-holding should be achieved.
DURATION
20 Hours*
STRUCTURE
Dictation material is available between 40
and 140 wpm, and is widely varied in content. A trained supervisor is available
throughout the training to guide the student through the course..
The course relies upon the student spending some time practicing in addition to time spent at the centre.
Certificates are issued upon satisfactory completion of tests. Optional OCR/RSA examinations may also be taken at the centre.
