Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality

The ABE Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality is split into part 1 and part 2.

Subjects Studied - Diploma 1

There are four compulsory subjects:
    Economic Principals and their Application to Business
    Organisational Behaviour
    Financial Accounting
    Travel, Tourism & Hospitality

Subjects Studied - Diploma 2

There are three compulsory subjects:
    Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication
    Human Resource Management
    Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Operations Management

   
Students must also pass two electives, from:
    Managerial Accounting
    Principals of Business Law
    IT in Hospitality and Tourism Operations
    Customer Service Skills

The Diploma 1 and Diploma 2 examination papers are set and marked to the level of the first year of a UK University Business Studies Degree course.

Course Duration

12
months or 24 months.

Course Fees

£2,500 (12 months option) or £3,600 (24 months option)
These fees can be paid by way of a deposit followed by monthly payments. Please ask for full details.

Conditions of Entry

Applicants must have attained one of the following entry requirements: 

 1. ABE Certificate in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality.
2. Two GCE ‘A’ levels or equivalent. For full details see www.abeuk.com
3. A
t least two years appropriate employment. 

Enrolment

Enrolment takes place every month. The examinations are held in June and December which makes the most popular enrolment months January and July.

What Next?

Students can progress to the ABE Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality once they have successfully completed the Diploma level and passed the examinations. Alternatively, students can apply for entry into the 2nd year of a University degree course in the UK and overseas.
