Course Description
This course is suitable for those wishing to acquire audio transcription skills and also leads towards the OCR Audio Transcription unit certification at Level 1, 2 or 3.
Course Content
- Instructions on how to use an audio transcription machine.
- The necessary rules when transcribing documents in order to successfully meet the criteria set down by OCR.
- Practical exercises to develop audio transcription skills.
- OCR Audio Transcription mock examinations at either Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 dependant upon the OCR Text Processing abilities of the candidate.
- Prepares candidates for one of the following OCR unit certifications:
- Audio Transcription Level 1 (06967)
- Audio Transcription Level 2 (06976)
- Legal Audio Transcription Level 2 (06980)
- Medical Audio Transcription Level 2 (06995)
- Audio Transcription Level 3 (03933)
