MCP

Individual Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)  examinations are used to gain higher awards such as MCSA and  MCSE. However, the MCP designation is a valuable qualification to have in its own right. There are a total 7 subjects from which to choose. 

Designed for:      Network Administrators, Network Engineers, Systems Administrators, Network Technicians and Technical Support Specialists.

Pre-requisites:    Experience of using one or more: Windows 98/NT/2000/XP.

·        Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Environment– (Test 70-290)

·        Implementing, Managing and Maintaining a Windows 2003 Network Infrastructure– (Test 70-291)

·        Planning and Maintaining a Windows 2003 Network Infrastructure – (Test 70-293)

·        Planning, Implementing and Maintaining a Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure– (Test 70-294)

·         Designing a Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure– (Test 70-297)

·         Installing, Configuring and Administering SQL Server 2000 Enterprise edition – (Test 70-228)

Study Options:

  1. Basic:          We supply high quality course manuals. Then you’re on your own.

  2. Popular:      We supply high quality course materials, consisting of manuals, CDs and online progress testing. We then provide additional support. We provide the student with the necessary hardware and software to carry out the exercises built into the course materials. This is done through a series of supervised lab sessions at our centre, which can be arranged at times to suit the student.

  3. Online:        We supply high quality course materials, consisting of manuals, CDs and online progress testing. Additional support is then provided online. This consists of having access to an online mentor to answer any questions you may have, taking part in live online tutorials with other students logged on from around the country and also having access to virtual labs online where you can practice the skills you have learned by controlling computers remotely.
